During the XV International Ballet Competition in Moscow, the editorial team of Voci dell’Opera decided to celebrate not only the prize winners, but also the artists who especially moved us with their talent, stage presence, and sincerity.

We were delighted to present small gifts to two remarkable participants whose performances left a lasting impression on us.

Nilay Tahiroğlu received the handcrafted handbag "A View from the Front Entrance", created by artist and designer Sasha Dremova. The piece is inspired by the architecture of St. Petersburg's Art Nouveau era, with its flowing botanical ornaments, elegant lines, and the unique atmosphere of early 20th-century buildings. Its distinctive silhouette echoes a Gothic arch, while the hand embroidery—crafted with Italian sequins, Czech beads, and raffia—transforms the bag into a true work of decorative art.

📖 Auguste Marmus was presented with the "Panno" book cover, another original creation by Sasha Dremova. Combining soft velvet, natural leather, and graceful metal detailing, the piece transforms an everyday object into a reminder to slow down, enjoy reading, and appreciate beauty in daily life.

Sasha Dremova creates contemporary accessories inspired by architecture, decorative arts, literature, and traditional craftsmanship. Rather than reproducing historical objects, she reinterprets the atmosphere of past eras, bringing it into the present. Each accessory tells its own story—a story that can accompany its owner every day.

We would like to thank Sasha Dremova for this collaboration and for giving us the opportunity to present the dancers with not simply beautiful objects, but meaningful works of art filled with history and character.

Sasha Dremova's social media:

Congratulations to Nilay and Auguste, and we wish them continued inspiration, artistic growth, and a bright future on the international ballet stage.
